Hayes

Hayes, in the London Borough of Hillingdon, is a community Street Lights knows from the inside. Our founder, Andrew Fuller, worked on the council-led, VRU-funded Making Hayes Safer project — the kind of community-rooted work that brought residents together with early intervention and positive opportunities for young people.

That local knowledge changes the work. We understand the geography young people move through, the pressures they carry, and the difference a consistent, trusted adult makes in a place rather than a system.

In Hayes we offer the same trauma-informed services we deliver across the borough — from serious youth violence and gang exit through to SEMH support, exploitation and safeguarding work, healthy-relationships education and family support — in community, school and one-to-one settings.

Everything runs through our Presence · Power · Purpose model: safety and trust first, dependable relationship next, then the agency and sense of standard that lets a young person move from surviving to leading on their own terms.
